It’s another feature in the colour series and red is making its way back into this one like a boss! If you missed the first post on the series you can find it here.

My initial plan was to pair this mustard top with tan bottoms but I thought why not give red another shot and look how beautifully it turned out (if I do say so myself). The combination reminds me of ketchup and mustard!

I promise I’m not hungry lol.

Red is such a strong colour that represents several emotions including love, anger, power, and danger. Think red roses, the angry emoji, a red Ferrari, red lipstick, and a gorgeous red dress; they are all bound to make one pause, stare, and pay attention.

Yellow (in this case mustard yellow) represents happiness and friendliness, it conveys youthful and vibrant energy.

Put together and it’s a recipe for a delicious look.

Style Tip: If you find pairing both colours to be too much of a statement for you, you can tone the look down by either throwing in a neutral colour such as black, white, or nude or simply accessorizing with either one of the colours.

Let me know if you’ll be trying this combination.

These strong colors are not for me – at least not all together. However, I like the fact this each color has a meaning and stimulates emotions. I will be sure to use Mustard and Red when I want people to eat up my presentations.

P.S. I will try the mix and share my pictures one day soon.

Hahaha! Definitely throw in the red and mustard in your presentations for guaranteed results.

    Thanks for stopping by Okeyinfu.
